A little background info:
I'm a former healthcare worker turned developer.
Coding actually started out as a hobby for me, but quickly grew into a career. While the bulk of my work experience has been centered around front-end development, I consider myself to be a full-stack developer, and will not shy away from backend work.
I am a driven and self-motivated developer that is always looking to learn more. I love finding digital solutions to
real world problems while having fun along the way!
The video below goes further into detail about my background, and how my transition into the tech industry began:
I'm primarily a JavaScript programmer with a keen eye for design and a strong affinity for front end development.
I have worked a number of contract roles through different clients, which has given me the ability to quickly integrate into new dev teams, as well as the experience of working with a number of different codebases.
If you're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, I'm your guy.
In my free time, I also like developing mobile apps using React Native, and I am currently in the process of teaching myself
Java (Spring/Boot) and Python.
* Please refer to my resume for a full list of my skills and experience. *
Just a small glimpse into my life and some of the things that I like doing in my free time:
You can usually find me at the local track, or wrenching on my car in the garage. I'm a big motorsport enthusiast, but I also produce electronic music and hip-hop instrumentals in my free time. I enjoy outdoor activities and I stay active by running, going to the gym, and playing sports with friends. Sundays are dedicated to the Dallas Cowboys.
